چکیده

Introduction and Aim: CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease) is a problem in health care spread all over the world with adverse consequences. associated premature atherosclerosis increased morbidity mortality due to cardiovascular complications. Hypertriglyceridemia commonly seen lipid abnormality patients. PON-1 (Paraoxanase-1) glycoprotein synthesized liver released into blood, where it links HDL. This study was undertaken find out relation between HDL-C its effect on atherosclerosis.
Materials Methods: A total number of 123 subjects participated study. Serum used for estimating parameters such as serum cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG), high-density lipoprotein (HDL), low-density (LDL), very (VLDL) by calculation, creatinine, urea fully automated analyzer BS300. paraoxonase-1(PON) estimated spectrophotometric method.
Results: The metabolic derangement evident group significantly higher urea, dyslipidemia, abnormal paraoxonase activity being observed cases compared controls. Conclusion: suggests need assessing activity, measure antioxidant capacity which improves predictive accuracy CKD.
